Alabama House Bill 441: Barring the Dissemination to Minors of Video Games with Violent and/or Sexually Explicit Content

Legislative History: In March 2005, Alabama's House of Representatives proposed House Bill 441, intended to ban the sale, rental, or other form of dissemination to minors of "sexually explicit" and "violent" video games. Media Coalition sent a letter opposing the bill and explaining its constitutional defects. H.B. 441 failed to pass into law.
