Ninth Circuit Rules Oregon Harmful to Minors Law Unconstitutional

On September 20, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down an Oregon "harmful to minors" law in a challenge brought by members of Media Coalition and the ACLU of Oregon.  The law criminalized the dissemination to minors of material containing descriptions or depictions of sexual activity - from a sex education book or website to a Judy Blume novel.
