Hawaii Senate Tourism Committee Removes Third Party Liability Language from H.B. 548

At a hearing on March 22, the Senate Committee on Tourism amended H.B. 548, establishing a task force to study the issue of trespassing-related injuries and deaths and removing the third party liability language. Media Coalition submitted testimony in opposition to the bill on March 21 in advance of the hearing.
