Village Books v. Bellingham

On February 9, 1989, a U.S. District Judge in the Western District of Washington found unconstitutional a Bellingham, Washington ordinance that authorized the filing of civil suits against producers and distributors of material depicting sexually explicit subordination of women in the Media Coalition case Village Books v. Bellingham.
